OFFICE/LOCATION INTRODUCING DR. JAMES C. FENG
Dr. Feng is a graduate of UCLA School of Dentistry. He furthered his education with a general practice residency program also at UCLA. Immediately following the hospital-based residency, Dr. Feng was recruited by UCLA as faculty and instructor at the Restorative Division teaching latest techniques and technologies. After two years as a lecturer, he gave up his faculty position at UCLA to pursue clinical practice in downtown Los Angeles.
When you are at his office, you can expect the latest techniques and best technologies and materials in your treatment. For example, invisible braces straighten teeth without brackets and wires. BriteSmileŽ has the leading technology in teeth whitening providing up to 10 shades whiter in about an hour with minimal side effects. Dental implants prevent filing down of adjacent teeth to replace a missing tooth. Porcelain veneers provide a natural look to correct chipped, discolored, crooked and disproportioned teeth. Zirconium crowns are more bio-compatible than porcelain-metal crowns.
When you're being treated by Dr. Feng, you'll notice that he uses great care and accuracy to make sure your result is absolutely perfect and long-lasting. He prides himself with the quality of work above all else. Dr. Feng's also has priority in conserving enamel and your tooth structure. Enamel is the hardest substance in your body and is there to protect your tooth against tremendous biting forces and bacterial invasion. It is a substance that once lost, will never grow back. The less work done onto a tooth, the healthier it is for the tooth. Small fillings become large ones. Large fillings become crowns. Quality of work means less replacement and therefore conserve your healty, natural tooth. Along the same line, we are an amalgam/mercury-free office since 2003. We believe the potential harmful effects of mercury doesn't justify placing it in the human body. We are always looking for better materials to serve our patients. Feel safe and reassured that you're in good hands when you are part of Dr. Feng's dental familty.
